The funeral ceremony will be conducted calmly, audibly and with dignity. Our key aim is to provide a ceremony which celebrates and reflects the life of the deceased with integrity and accuracy.
The content of the funeral ceremony will be agreed, wherever possible, at a face-to-face meeting with you, normally held at your home or a place convenient to you.
The tribute will be based on the information provided by you or other members of the family.
We will always seek to accommodate your suggestions for the ceremony, and will offer advice and guidance about music, poetry and readings appropriate to the occasion.
The ceremony can include religious material, if requested.  However, if it becomes apparent that a fully religious service is desired, you may be referred back to the Funeral Director for contact with a member of the clergy.
Members of the family or personal circle of the deceased will be offered the opportunity to participate in the tribute or to contribute readings.
We will prepare, in appropriate and correct English, a script for the ceremony. A preview copy of the script will be provided for you, to ensure that the content of the tribute is accurate and that the ceremony reflects the wishes of you and the family.
Funerals will always be delivered from a full written text, which will include any contributions from others. A commemorative copy of the script will be offered to you, to be sent or delivered within ten days of the funeral.
We will not use our access to you to promote products or paid services in any other occupation, or other interests, philosophies, religious or other beliefs, nor will we pass on your details to others.
We will wear appropriate dress for a funeral and respect the family's wishes about dress code.
We will be punctual when meeting with you.
We will seek (and welcome) feedback and suggestions for how we can improve our services.
